Enjoy Yourself is actually my favourite Kylie album - I think that it has something to do with hearing it so much as a kid.
My favourite song on this album is actually one that wasn’t released - I’m Over Dreaming (Over You).
Well, it seems like forever since I posted a post other than pics of hot guys (although I think that’s all people actually want!).
Well, the main aim of this post if going to be about the NHS.
Andrew had his tonsils out on the 2nd April, and at the ripe old age of 29, this wasn’t the best age for someone to have them out.
The operation went well and he was back home the same day - this was good! His operation was at the West Sussex hospital in Bury St Edmunds, and I found all the staff there very pleasant and very understanding. Specially as this was Andrew’s first ever operation and had loads of worries about just about everything!
He was back home the same day, and things seemed to be going well. It was on the Sunday after his operation that things took a turn for the worse.
Turns out one of the scabs in his throat had become infected and the scab had come off. This meant that he was bleeding very heavily for about 45 minutes. An ambulance was called and he was taken to Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge. Was kept in overnight and came home the next day with a bag full of medication.
I found that, again, everyone that was part of the NHS was very polite, knowledgeable and understanding. There was, understandable, long delays but he came home the next day and, so far, things have been OK.
Now, my opinion of the health service is that something that should be privatetised and people should pay for what they use. But, I have no control over changing that I have what I currently have (that makes so much more sense in my head).
I have to say, that after so much experience in hospitals over the past 2 weeks, and hopefully no more of it, the experience has been an pleasurable as it could be.
I found literally, every single member of staff in both hospitals knowledgeable, understanding, and polite.
If any NHS workers happen to read this, then I thank you!
Am going to post my favourite Kylie song from each of her albums. Will of course start from the very beginning with Kylie.
My favourite track on this album is Got To Be Certain.
